Today concluded our visit from the Middle States Team. We thank our Chairperson Mrs. Susan Gallagher, Mr. LeNard Higgins and Mrs. Monica Bajraktarevic for their time and guidance as we plan for the future! A special thank you to our Coordinators- Mrs. Rosanna Pirraglia and Mrs. Olivia Haney for their tireless efforts throughout this process. 6th Grade recently completed reading Esperanza Rising which is set in Mexico and explores Mexican Culture. Mrs. Dipillo prepared a fiesta for the students as a celebration of their hard work!
Our students in Grades 5-8 enjoyed the beautiful weather during music class while they learned the music and moves to the Traditional Mexican Folk Dance- Los Machetes and the Virginia Reel- one of our country's oldest dances!
Our PreK and Kindergarten friends had a special visitor today and an Easter egg hunt! Thank you to our 8th grade Peer Helpers for helping make this a great day for our youngest students.
Our annual Easter-time tradition re-enacting the life, passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ was held on Palm Sunday. Students in grades 1 and 5-8 participated in the production, which featured song, dance, and narration.
