Thank you to the students and staff who participated in our Advent fundraiser "Silver Bells for Change" to support “The Water Project” by donating throughout advent! The money raised will be donated to The Water Project to help aid countries like Zimbabwe who lack sources of clean water.
The Holy Trinity School tradition of receiving a class ornament each year continued today at our annual "Milk & Cookies Ornament Exchange" - a school favorite! Thank you to all the parents who hand-made ornaments commemorating the children's year. By the time our students graduate, they will have nearly a dozen Holy Trinity ornaments!
Our youngest students - PreK-3 to Grade 4 - ushered in Christmas week with Holy Trinity's annual Angel Pageant. The evening was filled with songs, poems, and a retelling of the birth of Jesus - a beautiful way to prepare for Christmas! Be sure to check out the photos!
Our First Grade students were treated to a special Christmas Party thrown for them by the Conwell Egan Catholic High School community! The students played games, had a visit from Santa and the school mascot, made a craft, ate cookies and candy canes, sang songs, and listened to a Christmas story. What an enjoyable morning for the students and their teachers!
As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, students and faculty gathered prior to First Friday Mass to participate in Monsignor Eckert's blessing of the Advent Wreath, as we begin this season of preparing for the birth of Jesus. Following Mass, students recounted the story of Jesus' family tree and hung symbolic ornaments on the Jesse Tree, which will stand in the school lobby for the remainder of Advent.
It was a week of gifting at Holy Trinity School, thanks to the dedicated parents, grandparents, and other special family members who acted as elves in Santa's Secret Shop! All of our students had the opportunity to pick out surprise gifts for their loved ones - including pets! - and enjoy edible Christmas treats, as the school library was transformed into Santa's workshop. Santa even made a guest appearance to hear all the children's Christmas wishes - what a special week for all!
