After a year end no one could have ever predicted last September, it is now time to enjoy the summer months! Wishing all of our Holy Trinity families a very healthy, safe, relaxing break from school routines! See you in September!
Forty-five years in Catholic Education is certainly something to celebrate! Mrs. Elaine McDowell is retiring after a distinguished career in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, concluding with an 11-year tenure as the beloved principal of Holy Trinity School. A Surprise Retirement Parade and Party was held in Mrs. McDowell's honor with an incredibly-lengthy car parade, which processed past Holy Trinity School. Mrs. McDowell's former students, past and current colleagues, family members, friends, Morrisville's Police Chief McClay, and countless members of the Holy Trinity School community participated in the parade – honking and cheering all the way! Even Action News came out to capture the event!
In lieu of their traditional graduation ceremonies marked with stage performances, award presentations, and shared, celebratory refreshments, a "Send-off Parade" for Holy Trinity’s youngest students was held on the school grounds. To mark the 4- and 5-year-olds’ promotion to the next phase of their educational journey, students and their families walked down the alley that connects the Children’s Cottage preschool with Holy Trinity’s larger elementary school building. Students were cheered on by the school’s faculty and staff in a festive atmosphere filled with music, decorations, and lots of bubbles! Be sure to check out the photo album!
