Mr. Chris Seifert, a favorite friend of Holy Trinity School, returned today for this year's Junior High Leadership kickoff event! The curriculum for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 will be enhanced by the incorporation of key leadership skill lessons and activities based on a program developed by Mr. Seifert, a renowned motivational speaker and educator.
Our student body, faculty, and staff voted today for our STARE Leadership Team's President and Vice President today. Congratulations to all four candidates for stepping-up to the challenge of volunteering for the opportunity to be a leader of our school!
Holy Trinity students worked together with teachers, parents, and students from Villanova University to clean up the school grounds for our annual Day of Service. We thank all who participated for their hard work to help beautify our school, and extend special thanks to Advisory Council members, Mrs. Eileen Coyne and Mrs. Hanna Tracy, for providing lunch for our workers and to Fifth Grade homeroom teacher, Mrs. Susan Smith, for organizing this annual event!
As has become tradition, Holy Trinity School celebrated national "First Day" - the day when all of our students are first together for the new school year! With PreK and Kindergarten attending for their first day of school, our First Day celebration was held on Friday, September 7. The theme for the day was "Under the Sea: Let's Dive Into a New Year of Learning at Holy Trinity School!" We began the day with mass, after which all of our new students and faculty members were given a special welcome. Our students enjoyed treats provided by our Home and School Association, and, thanks to a generous grant from the Connelly Foundation, a performance by the Soul Steps dance troupe. While the school day ended at noon, the fun continued at our Home and School Association's evening Food Truck "Friend-zy" event, with vendors from several area eateries. Games, music and face-painting were featured as well as the very popular faculty dunk tank! Thank you to all who made the day and evening a very memorable "First Day" for all!
