Grade 6 recently enjoyed a visit to the Barnes Foundation, thanks to a grant from the Connelly Foundation. They viewed artwork by Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, Modigliani, Van Gogh, and other renowned artists, plus African sculpture, Native American ceramics, metalwork, and decorative arts.
Today, our PreK, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students gathered for an afternoon of FUN practicing their ELA skills! BINGO, letter matching, ELA yoga, and stories were a few of the activities. Grade 6 helpers graciously assisted the classroom teachers. Who ever knew ELA could be so much FUN?!
