Our students enjoyed milk and cookies while reading with their Prayer Partners. Our dedicated classroom parents also distributed each class' very special hand-made ornament, which commemorates their year at Holy Trinity. This is a beloved tradition at our school!
One of our favorite ways to celebrate the Advent Season is with our annual Angel Pageant! Students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 reenact the birth of Jesus. complete with carols, poems, and Gospel readings. Shepherds, inn keepers, angels, the Wise Men, and the Little Drummer Boy are all a part of this special event, with our Pre-Kindergarten friends delighting us with songs to the Baby Jesus.
This afternoon, Mrs. Raudenbush brought a Sportsworld motivational speaker to talk with our students about pursuing their dreams, not succumbing to negativity, making good choices, and staying true to their values and faith. Chip Minton, a two-time member of the US Olympic bobsled team and former professional wrestler, spoke to the students about the impact his faith has had on his life. He concluded his presentation with a steel bar-bending demonstration - the kids loved it!
All Holy Trinity School students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are participating in this year's "Hour of Code" international computer science event. This is the fourth year our students have participated.
