To mark the start of the new school year, Holy Trinity School celebrated National First Day on Friday, September 8 with some out-of-this-world festivities! This annual celebration involved the entire school community – students, parents, parishioners, volunteers, faculty, staff, and administration – as they joined together under the theme “Holy Trinity School: To Space and Beyond” to celebrate the first day that all Holy Trinity students – PreKindergarten through Grade 8 – come to school. This is also an introduction and welcome to the school for all new Holy Trinity School families.
The school grounds were decorated with a fun space theme, students received themed treats, and class pictures were taken in “outer space.” The day began with 9:00 AM Mass celebrated by Pastor Father John Eckert, followed by a continental breakfast in the school cafeteria, where the Executive Board of the Home and School Association was introduced. Tours of the school campus were given and, at 10:45 AM, our students and guests were entertained by the very popular “Rock Roots” of Young Audiences, as all learned about the History of American Pop Music.
